Bloom:  Early to mid-summer; lovely pure white tubular flowers grace tall stalks.  Very showy.  Bloom second year.  Then dies, but easily reseeds.
Foliage:  Light-medium green, coarse-textured basal rosette is evergreen through first winter.
Light:  Full sun to part shade (actually does quiite well in full shade)
Water:  Moderate
Soil:  Rich to moderate, well drained
