Foliage:  Bright green/tan, fine somewhat 'hairlike', upright grass that ads movement and textural contrast; dries to brown/tan (can be overwintered inside, or can survive with shelter

Flower:  Summer; burgundy-red lending a reddish tinge to tops of grass bunches

Light:  Full sun

Moisture:  Low to average

Soil:  Average, light to moderate; good drainage

Garden location:  Borders, containers
