PLANT PROFILE:
Growth:  Romaine lettuce leaves form loose vertical heads with a pronounced, crispy, juicy rib.  Leaves are green - lighter on the inside of the head.  Harvest outside leaves as needed.  Performs best in cool (spring, fall season) full sun.  Providing dappled shade as summer heat stresses lettuces will prolong their edibility before they stretch to bloom, go to seed and become bitter tasting.
