Height:  120-240cm [4-8ft] with flower stalks

Spread:  90-120cm [3-4ft] 

Bloom:  Early to late summer; large fragrant sprays of pink flowers top tall stems;  blooms very showy early then gradully fade but remain ornamental well into fall and winter.

Foliage:  Medium green deeply-cut leaves, also fragrant, complement the flowers

Light:  Full sun to part shade.

Water:  Moderate to ample.

Soil:  Rich, woodsy, moist; thrives in wet soil, but tolerates dry

Garden location:  Bold accent plant or back of perennial or mixed shrub border; good in cottage gardens and naturalistic plantings.  Especially suited to rain gardens, pond- and stream-side.
