Growth:  Fast-growing, low maintenance.  If well watered and fertilized plants will grow quite tall and may need staking in windy areas
Flower:  Colourful "petals" are actually stiff, papery bracts surrounding a yellow, nectar-rich center (attracting pollinators), making them ideal for cutting and drying; colours are  vibrant shades of red through orange, yellow, pink and white.
Foliage:  
Environment:  Requires full sun and well-drained soil; soil can be rich (plant grows taller) or poor; plants are drought-tolerant once established.
Garden locations:  Excellent for borders (mid- to background) and, because they retain their shape and color, they are grea  in everlasting dried arrangements.  Left in the garden, flowers retain their colours months into the fall and winter.
