PLANT PROFILE:
Growth:  Open, loosely curled, leaves are a lovely blend of lettuce green to red that alone can make a colourful salad.  Harvest outside leaves as needed.  Performs best in cool (spring, fall season) full sun.  Providing dappled shade as summer heat stresses lettuces will prolong their edibility before they stretch to bloom, go to seed and become bitter tasting.
